Textile hydrostatic pressure refers to the resistance encountered when the water penetrates the fabric. Under standard atmospheric conditions, the fabric is subjected to a continuous rise in water pressure until water droplets seep out from the back of the fabric, at which point the measured water pressure size is the textile hydrostatic pressure.
